Assault Portland Oregon in Portland, Oregon: Portland police arrested a 32-year-old man on Wednesday, June 24, after another man was stabbed in the abdomen in Northwest Portland. Officers responded at 10:05 a.m. to a report of a stabbing at Northwest 6th Avenue and Northwest Everett Street, where they found an adult male victim with a serious but non-life-threatening stab wound. The victim was transported to the hospital, and police later located a knife believed used in the stabbing and the suspect at Northwest Park Avenue and Northwest Everett Street. The suspect, La'Darrien R. Meaux, 32, of Portland, was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
