Aircraft Kennewick Arkansas in Kennewick, Arkansas: Two men died after a floatplane struck a power line crossing the Columbia River to Clover Island in Kennewick on Wednesday afternoon, sending the plane and a live wire into the river. The plane landed upside down in the water near the Pasco shoreline about 2:30 p.m. and was lifted out by a Lampson crane roughly two hours later. The downed line sparked a small natural cover fire on the Pasco side of the river and caused power outages affecting thousands of customers in the Tri-Cities area.
