Drowning Pennsylvania Today in Pennsylvania: A young child was rescued from a near drowning at the Mack Park Pool, a community swimming pool in Indiana County, on Tuesday afternoon. A lifeguard brought the child to safety and performed lifesaving measures after the young swimmer was in distress. The child was flown by medical helicopter to UPMC Children's Hospital for additional evaluation and treatment. The child's condition was not released.
