Car Crash Kansas Today in Kansas: A rollover crash occurred at 4:25 a.m. Wednesday on southbound Interstate 35 on the Kansas Turnpike in Chase County, about 13 miles southwest of Emporia. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2020 Ford Escape driven by Micheal Hinkle-Moreno, 23, of Wichita, went off the road after the driver fell asleep at the wheel and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll over one full time before coming to rest on its driver's side. The driver was transported to Newman Hospital in Emporia with possible injuries, and two passengers — Brandi Moreno, 37, and Brandon Moreno, 34, both of Wichita — were also transported to Newman Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
