Hit And Run Warren Michigan in Warren, Michigan: A 17-year-old male driver from Detroit fled Warren police officers for seven minutes after officers attempted a traffic stop near Fairfield and Georgiana streets. The driver ran a red light on Eight Mile Road and struck a vehicle driven by 48-year-old Remions Washington of Detroit. Washington was transported to a hospital by the Detroit Fire Department, where he was pronounced dead. The five occupants of the fleeing vehicle, ages 11 to 17, fled on foot and were later apprehended; the 17-year-old driver was charged as an adult with felony murder and other charges.
