Victim identified in fiery I-64 tractor-trailer crash

South Charleston Fire Chief Virgil White confirmed one fatality, identified by police as the tractor-trailer driver, Jeffrey Simons, 63, of Iowa. A fire broke out on the tractor-trailer, and both vehicles were left dangling off the edge of the bridge. The truck driver's dog was rescued from the crash, and South Charleston Police are investigating.
