Teen boy seriously injured in Aurora Avenue shooting
Shooting Seattle Texas in Seattle, Texas: A 15-year-old boy was hospitalized in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center Tuesday night after suffering a gunshot wound to the torso along Aurora Avenue North in Seattle. Seattle police responded around 10:47 p.m. to reports of gunfire near North 93rd Street and Aurora Avenue North, with the scene updated to 10507 Aurora Avenue North. Detectives with the Gun Violence Reduction Unit are investigating two conflicting accounts: a reported drive-by shooting in which a passenger in a dark-colored sedan allegedly shot the teen on the sidewalk, and an alternative report that the shooting occurred inside a vehicle when a backseat passenger mishandled a handgun and accidentally shot the driver, who then drove a few blocks to flag down Seattle Fire crews.
