Salt Lake City pilot dies in Box Elder County plane crash

Aircraft Willard Utah in Willard, Utah: A small Cessna 172S plane crashed near Willard in Box Elder County on Tuesday night. The Box Elder County Sheriff's Office located the wreckage with the help of a Utah Department of Public Safety helicopter. The sole occupant, an unidentified pilot from Salt Lake City, was declared dead at the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board.
