Motorcycle Crash Gallatin Arkansas in Gallatin, Arkansas: A 30-year-old Red Hook man died Sunday after losing control of his motorcycle and striking a car head-on in the Columbia County town of Gallatin, state police said. Nicholas H. Hedges, 30, of Red Hook, lost control of a 2014 Ducati motorcycle near Jackson Corners and Hoefer roads at about 8:30 p.m. on June 21, sliding from the eastbound lane into the westbound lane and striking a 2025 Kia head-on. Hedges was pronounced dead at the scene. The Kia driver, Mojica, and a front-seat passenger were taken to Columbia Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Greenport Fire Department assisted state police at the scene.
