Car Crash Pittsfield Massachusetts in Pittsfield, Massachusetts: A school bus carrying Herberg Middle School students was involved in a crash at the intersection of Merrill Road and Plastics Avenue in Pittsfield on Wednesday at about 3:05 p.m. A Toyota sedan heading eastbound on Merrill Road collided with the back end of the bus, which was proceeding north across the intersection from Laurel Street to Plastics Avenue. One student was transported to Berkshire Medical Center for treatment. Pittsfield Police, Pittsfield Fire Department personnel, and County Ambulance responded to the scene, and traffic on Merrill Road was reduced to one lane in either direction.
