Pedestrian killed in crash with commercial truck on Highway…
Pedestrian Hit Oregon Today in Oregon: A 67-year-old Klamath Falls man was killed late Monday night after he was struck by a commercial vehicle on Highway 97 in Klamath County, according to Oregon State Police. Troopers responded at 10:07 p.m. Monday, June 22, to a fatal vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash on Highway 97 near milepost 200. A white Freightliner commercial motor vehicle driven by Larry Dotson, 44, of Vicksburg, Mississippi, was traveling southbound near Chemult when it struck Scott Henry Beggio, 67, of Klamath Falls, who was standing in the southbound lane trying to catch his dog. Beggio was pronounced dead at the scene; Dotson was not injured.
