Panama City man arrested for fatal hit-and-run crash
Hit And Run Panama City Florida in Panama City, Florida: A Panama City man was arrested on Friday for allegedly leaving the scene of a traffic crash that left one Youngstown man dead. Florida Highway Patrol reported that an SUV entered an intersection and collided with Vestal's pickup truck on the left side. The 54-year-old driver of the SUV died from his injuries, and Vestal allegedly fled the scene on foot before being apprehended by Bay County Sheriff's Office deputies. Vestal was charged with driving while license suspended causing death or serious injury and leaving the scene involving death, and had a prior 2016 DUI conviction involving a crash with serious bodily injury.
