Murray woman airlifted for medical treatment after collision

Car Crash Kentucky Today in Kentucky: A two-vehicle collision occurred at approximately 8 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of KY 80 and Kirksey Road/KY 299 in Calloway County. A 2015 Subaru Outback driven by Ashley Massengill, 29, of Murray, stopped at the stop sign on Kirksey Road, then entered the intersection and failed to yield to a 2009 BMW driven by Neely Flowers, 17, of Mayfield, which was traveling eastbound on KY 80. The Subaru crossed into the BMW's path, resulting in a collision. Massengill was transported to Murray-Calloway County Hospital and then airlifted to a regional trauma center for further treatment. Flowers was not injured.
