Motorcycle Crash Manchester Florida in Manchester, Florida: At 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a motorcyclist crashed on the Exit 5 off-ramp from I-293 North in Manchester, New Hampshire. The rider made contact with the guardrail, was ejected, slid along the guardrail for approximately 100 feet, and was thrown nearly 70 feet off the ramp onto the shoreline of the Merrimack River, hitting a tree and an abutment wall. Emergency crews launched boats from near Delta Dental Stadium to reach the rider on the shore, and he was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. Manchester Fire Battalion Chief Robert Plantier said speed likely played a significant role and the crash remains under investigation.
