Mission Hills attorney pleads guilty in fatal DWI crash

Dui Crash Missouri Today in Missouri: Mission Hills attorney Peter E. Goss, 47, pleaded guilty to a felony DWI charge in a wrong-way crash that killed 65-year-old Kevin Ray Wilson of Lee's Summit. Goss was driving a 2021 Chevrolet Suburban west in the eastbound lanes of U.S. 50 near Missouri Route Z in rural Johnson County when he crashed head-on into Wilson's 2023 Subaru Legacy shortly before 11 p.m. on Sept. 20, 2024. Wilson died at the scene and Goss was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. A wrongful death settlement of $2.25 million was later approved against Goss through his insurer.
