Pedestrian Hit Kalamazoo Michigan in Kalamazoo, Michigan: A 32-year-old man died after 3 a.m. Wednesday after a vehicle struck him near the intersection of South Westnedge Avenue and West Cedar Street in Kalamazoo. Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers responded after calls about a person lying in the road who had been hit by a car. South Westnedge Avenue was closed for about four hours as police canvassed the area for evidence, surveillance footage, and witnesses. The driver fled the scene, making it a hit-and-run.
