Man injured in armed robbery at smoke shop

Shooting Santa Monica California in Santa Monica, California: Two suspects committed an armed robbery at Smoke World, 1914 Lincoln Blvd., in Santa Monica on Wednesday morning around 8:13 a.m. An employee suffered a gunshot wound to the leg during the incident. A Santa Monica police officer applied a tourniquet to the injured employee before the employee was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police said there is no indication the suspects remain in the immediate area.
