Drowning Lake Ozark Arkansas in Lake Ozark, Arkansas: A 60-year-old man from Clark, Missouri died on June 23, 2026, after a Dodge Ram pickup truck and trailer became submerged in the Osage River at the Bagnell Dam Access boat ramp near Lake Ozark. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the man was backing the truck and trailer down the boat ramp around 4:45 p.m. when a 66-year-old woman, also from Clark, pulled a boat onto the trailer. As she walked in front of the boat to secure it, the pickup began backing into the water. She fell and sustained minor injuries as the Ram and trailer continued into the river until both were submerged. The driver was unable to get out of the vehicle, and the Miller County Coroner declared his death at 6:39 p.m.
