Man dies after lawn mower goes off cliff edge, coroner says

Fall Injury Alabama Today in Alabama: Richard Crowe, a 68-year-old former 911 communications director and EMT, was found dead at the bottom of a 15 to 20-foot cliff under a riding lawnmower in Pickens County. The Pickens County Coroner's Office said Crowe was mowing his lawn on Tuesday night when his riding lawnmower went off the cliff edge and landed on top of him. The coroner had not yet determined whether Crowe suffered a medical emergency before the crash. An autopsy was scheduled for the following day.
