Car Crash Gardiner Maine in Gardiner, Maine: A 57-year-old Lewiston man working as a Maine Department of Transportation employee was struck by a 2021 Cadillac SUV while removing tire debris near the right-hand fog line of Interstate 295 north in Gardiner shortly before 1:45 p.m. Wednesday. The SUV was driven by a 39-year-old Gardiner woman. The MaineDOT worker was transported by Gardiner Rescue to MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta with non-life-threatening injuries.
