Johnson man charged with vehicular homicide in Floyd crash
Dui Crash Prestonsburg Georgia in Prestonsburg, Georgia: On January 1, 2025, a two-vehicle head-on collision occurred in Floyd County, Kentucky, after Joshua Conley, 41, of Paintsville, crossed into oncoming traffic and turned into the path of another vehicle. A 71-year-old woman from Kingsport, Tennessee, who was a passenger in the other vehicle, was found in critical condition and transported to an area hospital, where she later died from her injuries in September. An investigation determined Conley was under the influence of fentanyl and methamphetamine at the time of the crash and was driving on a suspended license. Conley was indicted in February on charges including vehicular homicide while under the influence and DUI (second offense, aggravating circumstance), and was arrested by Kentucky State Police in Ashland.
