Pedestrian Hit Lansing Illinois in Lansing, Illinois: A person was killed on Wednesday morning around 5:28 a.m. while changing a tire on westbound Interstate 80 near Torrence Avenue in Lansing, Illinois, according to Illinois State Police. The person was outside their car attempting to change a tire when they were struck by a passing vehicle. The person died at the scene. Two westbound lanes of I-80 were closed during the investigation.
