Investigation underway after man hit by vehicle in Butte

Pedestrian Hit Butte Montana in Butte, Montana: A pedestrian was seriously injured Wednesday morning after a vehicle struck him and crashed into a Subway restaurant in Butte, Montana. At 8:06 a.m., a southbound vehicle on Montana Street struck an adult male pedestrian and the Subway building at 322 S. Montana Street, coming to rest against a retaining wall. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was transported to St. James Hospital. The driver was an adult female, and the crash remains under investigation with assistance from the Montana Highway Patrol.
