I-40 Eastbound closed due to fatal crash

Car Crash New Mexico Today in New Mexico: A silver Toyota 4Runner was traveling at a slow speed eastbound on the I-40 eastbound off-ramp and proceeded through the intersection of Eubank Blvd NE. The vehicle continued through the intersection, drove over the curb, and traveled down the embankment toward I-40 eastbound traffic, coming to a final rest on the shoulder of I-40 eastbound. The driver, an adult male, was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The crash occurred around 4:30 Tuesday afternoon and remains under investigation.
