Assault North Charleston South Carolina in North Charleston, South Carolina: North Charleston Police arrested 44-year-old Jerome Harper Jr. of Goose Creek early Wednesday morning following an assault and burglary at a motel on Rivers Avenue. The victim reported that Harper followed him into his motel room demanding payment for clothing sold about a week earlier. The victim stabbed Harper in the arm with a knife to remove him from the room, after which Harper allegedly used a four-way lug wrench to shatter the front window and stabbed the victim with an unidentified sharp object. Harper was charged with First-Degree Burglary and Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature.
