Shooting Granite City Alabama in Granite City, Alabama: A 19-year-old Granite City man was charged after a 17-year-old juvenile was shot in what appeared to be an accidental shooting at an apartment in Granite City on Sunday. The suspect told police he was "playing" with a GLFA Model GL-15 AR-platform pistol when it discharged, striking the victim. The juvenile was taken to Gateway Regional Medical Center by the shooter, then transferred to Saint Louis University Hospital in critical condition. Three other people from Granite City were charged with obstructing justice for allegedly hiding the gun and giving police false information.
