Pedestrian Hit Shirley Massachusetts in Shirley, Massachusetts: Theresa Nicke, 64, was walking on the shoulder of Dawn Drive near Pinelawn Avenue in Shirley when she was struck by an eastbound 2013 Buick Regal at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 20. Nicke was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries and her family announced her death on June 24. The driver of the Buick, Dale Cronin, 23, of Shirley, was not injured, according to Suffolk County Police.
