Hit And Run Fatal Wisconsin in fatal, Wisconsin: Obilio Sergento Roblero, 34, of Gillett, was convicted of hit-and-run involving death for an Oct. 25, 2024 crash that killed Thomas Roberts, a retired Green Bay police officer. Witnesses told authorities the driver of the GMC Acadia got out of the vehicle and fled the scene. The Oconto County Sheriff's Office identified Roblero as the driver; a deputy collected a can of beer from the passenger seat and a cell phone from the Acadia before it was towed as evidence. Roblero pleaded no contest to one count of hit and run involving death.
