Fresno man hospitalized after pipe attack near Shields/First

Assault California Today in California: A man was beaten with a pipe in Fresno on Tuesday night around 11 p.m. near Shields Avenue and First Street, suffering a broken arm and other serious injuries. The victim told officers an unknown suspect struck him with a pipe, and he was taken to Community Regional Medical Center. Fresno police are continuing to investigate the assault.
