Pedestrian Hit Columbus Alabama in Columbus, Alabama: Francisco Depaula, 47, of the Southeast Side of Columbus, was struck and killed by an oncoming car around 12:10 a.m. on June 22 on Morse Road near Sunbury Road on the city's Northeast Side. According to a Columbus police crash report, Depaula had just walked away from the scene of a separate accident in which he ran a red light and T-boned an SUV. He was pronounced dead at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital, with the Franklin County Coroner's office identifying him on June 24.
