Car Crash Deadly Alabama in deadly, Alabama: Richard Crowe, a 68-year-old retired Pickens County E-911 director, died after driving a lawn mower off a 15- to 20-foot drop on his property at the 1100 block of Belle Shoals Road in Pickens after 9 p.m., according to the Pickens County Coroner's Office. The coroner reported the death as a motor vehicle collision.
