Motorcycle Crash Albuquerque New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico: In May 2025, former Albuquerque Police officer Ezekiel Florez was driving a motorcycle on Central and Coors in Albuquerque when he struck Daniel Trujillo and kept going. Florez and his passenger, Krystal Garcia, both APD officers at the time, fled the scene and hid Florez's motorcycle in Garcia's garage. A Bernalillo County judge sentenced Florez to three years in prison for his role in the fatal hit and run, with an additional year-and-a-half of probation after suspending part of the sentence.
