Fatal Butler County crash claims life of Wappapello man

Car Crash Butler Missouri in Butler, Missouri: An 85-year-old Wappapello man died in a two-vehicle crash in Butler County on Monday, June 22, 2026, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at 11:40 a.m. on Route T, approximately four miles south of Wappapello. A 2016 GMC Terrain and a 1999 GMC Sierra were both traveling northbound when the crash occurred. The driver of the GMC Sierra sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:10 p.m. The driver of the GMC Terrain, a 63-year-old Wappapello woman, was wearing a seat belt and no injuries were listed for her.
