Ebike Crash Auburn New York in Auburn, New York: An e-bike rider was airlifted to a Syracuse hospital after crashing into a parked vehicle Tuesday evening in Auburn. According to Auburn Police, officers were dispatched to the area of East Genesee Street and Marvin Avenue at approximately 7:17 p.m. for a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries. A man in his 60s was traveling westbound on East Genesee Street on an e-bike when he collided with the rear of an unattended vehicle parked along the north side of the street, and the impact ejected the rider from the e-bike. He was airlifted to SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital for treatment; the full extent of his injuries was not immediately known and the cause remains under investigation.
