Dunn man dies in crash outside the city

Pedestrian Hit Dunn North Carolina in Dunn, North Carolina: A 25-year-old Dunn man was killed Monday night after being struck by a vehicle while standing near the trunk of a disabled car on Dorman Road, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. Javin Lavel Wynn, 25, of 103 Jackson St., was attempting to retrieve an air compressor from the trunk of a Cadillac to inflate a partially deflated tire when troopers say he and the Cadillac were struck by an impaired driver. Wynn died at the scene.
