At least one person dead Wednesday Kalamazoo crash

Pedestrian Hit Michigan Today in Michigan: Kalamazoo police responded to a hit-and-run crash at around 2:56 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24 in the area of Westnedge Avenue and Cedar Street. Officers arrived to find a 32-year-old man lying in the roadway after being struck by a vehicle, suffering from severe injuries. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was closed for several hours as KDPS detectives and crime scene personnel processed evidence; the driver who fled has not been identified.
