Aiken man turns himself in after fatal DUI crash in May

Dui Crash Aiken South Carolina in Aiken, South Carolina: Joshua Haines, 43, of Aiken, turned himself in to authorities on June 23 after a fatal DUI crash on May 1 on Whiskey Road near the intersection with Misty Oak Lane in Aiken County. Haines, driving a pickup truck, collided head-on with an SUV driven by 46-year-old Carla Garvin around 4 p.m. Garvin died at the scene. Haines was transported to WellStar MCG Health in Augusta with life-threatening injuries and is charged with felony DUI resulting in death and driving without a license.
