Abbeville Popeye's Fight Leads To Shooting, Police Say

Shooting Abbeville Louisiana in Abbeville, Louisiana: A fight at a Popeye's restaurant in Abbeville led to a shootout hours later on the 600 block of Hawthorne Street. Police say occupants of a silver Chevrolet Malibu followed Xavion Broussard from the restaurant to the street and opened fire, and Broussard returned fire, striking both the driver and a rear-seat passenger. Two people were injured in the exchange of gunfire, and the case remains under investigation.
