Car Crash Colorado Today in Colorado: A Nissan traveling northbound attempted to pass another vehicle and collided head-on with a southbound Ford van at around 4:20 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, on State Highway 171 between Bynum and Malone, near Waco. Six people were killed in the fiery crash, including four occupants of the Ford van — Amanda Fowler, 37, Sarah Johnson, 59, an 8-year-old boy, and a 7-year-old girl, all from Hillsboro — and two occupants of the Nissan, Sallie Evans Benson, 67, of Fort Worth, and Marvin Evans, 50, of Fort Collins, Colorado. A 10-year-old boy riding in the van survived and was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
