3-year-old hit by vehicle during Wadsworth parade: Police

Pedestrian Hit Wadsworth Ohio in Wadsworth, Ohio: A 3-year-old was hit by a vehicle during the Blue Tip Parade in Wadsworth, Ohio, on Tuesday evening around 6:40 p.m. The driver of a "modified ride-on minicar" lost control while doing a stunt and went off the roadway, striking the child who was watching the parade on the lawn. The child was taken to Akron Children's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police do not believe alcohol or drugs were involved, and the crash remains under investigation.
