Aircraft Pasco Alabama in Pasco, Alabama: A small airplane flying low clipped power lines on the Pasco side of the Columbia River near the Cable Bridge on June 24, causing the plane to flip over and crash into the river. The collision knocked out power in Pasco and Kennewick, and sparks from the damaged power lines ignited a grass fire at Pasco's Youth Baseball Complex. The Franklin County Sheriff's Office confirmed two men lost their lives in the crash, and the plane was recovered from the water upside down by a crane at about 3:30 p.m.
