Car Crash Matawan New Jersey in Matawan, New Jersey: A 44-year-old Sayreville man was killed in a car crash in South Brunswick Township on Monday night at approximately 8:35 p.m. Samuel Appiah-Debrah was driving a 2012 Honda Accord northbound on Route 535 when his car crossed the painted median into the southbound lane and sideswiped another vehicle. After the initial collision, the Honda continued northbound, struck a curb, and came to rest in a wooded area at the northwest corner of the intersection. Appiah-Debrah was transported to Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased. Police said the crash does not appear to be criminal in nature.
