Fatal Semi Crash In Duchesne County
Summary
Semi Truck Crash Utah Today in Utah: A fatal semi crash occurred in Duchesne County on June 19 at approximately 5 p.m. A 1979 Kenworth semitruck hauling hay was traveling west on SR-87 near 12000 West when it approached a bend, ran off the right side of the roadway, and overturned, coming to rest on its hood. One occupant escaped the cab while another was trapped; the truck then burst into flames. The trapped occupant was killed, and the other was transported to Uintah Basin Medical Center and then flown to the University of Utah burn unit. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Utah Highway Patrol.
