Motorcycle Crash Marcellus New York in Marcellus, New York: A Farmington woman died and a Farmington man was hospitalized after their motorcycle collided with a car at the intersection of Route 20 and Slate Hill Road in Marcellus, southwest of Syracuse, on Sunday just after 10 a.m. New York State Police say the car stopped on Slate Hill Road and failed to yield the right-of-way to the motorcycle traveling along Route 20. Both the 55-year-old male driver and 55-year-old female passenger were thrown from the bike and taken to Upstate University Hospital, where the passenger, Karyn Stratton, later died. The driver remains hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, and the other driver was not injured.
