Summary
Pedestrian Hit Boston Massachusetts in Boston, Massachusetts: A 32-year-old Dorchester woman, Mabinty Janneh, was killed on Saturday afternoon when she was struck by a stolen vehicle being driven the wrong way on Blue Hill Avenue in Mattapan, Boston. Police say Ibraim Matos, 37, of Hyde Park, carjacked a vehicle from a woman at a nearby car wash after crashing a stolen vehicle into another car near 1480 Blue Hill Ave., then drove onto the sidewalk and struck Janneh before crashing into another vehicle. Bystanders pulled Matos from the car and restrained him until police arrived; an MBTA bus was also struck by a vehicle in the area. Matos is charged with murder, carjacking, leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, and leaving the scene of an accident resulting in personal injury.
