Shooting Taylorsville Utah in Taylorsville, Utah: Taylorsville police responded to a shots fired call at about 3:17 a.m. on Saturday at a Speedway gas station near 4700 South and 3600 West, where they found Isaiah Chavez deceased in the parking lot. According to arrest documents, two vehicles carrying approximately nine people met in the parking lot while waiting for a text about a house party, and Alejandro Julian Bia, 23, fired a weapon from his vehicle at Chavez's group. Additional shots were fired from Bia's vehicle as it drove south on 3600 West, turned around, and drove back north past the opposing group, with about 10 more shots fired. Three suspects — Bia, Daniel Vargas Rodriguez, 19, and a 17-year-old identified as C.L. — were arrested at residences in Taylorsville.
