Semi Truck Crash Chester Nebraska in Chester, Nebraska: A 71-year-old Superior man died after a crash between two semis on Thursday morning in Thayer County, Nebraska. Just after 10 a.m., a westbound semi stopped at the northeast corner of the intersection of Highway 81 and Highway 8 at Chester entered the intersection and crossed into the path of a southbound semi. The driver of the westbound semi was unrestrained, was ejected from the semi, and died of his injuries. The driver of the southbound semi, a 61-year-old man from Minnesota, was wearing his seat belt and sustained minor injuries.
