Pedestrian hit and killed after crash on Morse Road
Summary
Pedestrian Hit Columbus Alabama in Columbus, Alabama: A pedestrian who had walked away from an earlier crash on Columbus' Northeast Side was struck and killed by a passing black sedan in a hit-skip on Morse Road just after midnight Monday. The pedestrian was hit while walking south into the eastbound lanes of Morse Road east of Sunbury Road and was knocked into the westbound left-turn lane. Columbus Fire transported the victim to Riverside Methodist Hospital, where they later died. The sedan fled the scene, but the driver later contacted Columbus Police and met with the Accident Investigation Unit detectives.
