Oroville woman arrested for DUI after rollover crash sends four to hospital

The crash happened just after 6 p.m. Sunday when a vehicle rolled down a cliff off Lumpkin Road above the former Gold Flake Saloon, about 10 miles east of Oroville. The vehicle was carrying three women and a 3-year-old boy; two of the women made their way to the parking lot with the child and were transported to a hospital by a passing motorist. CHP investigators later determined no additional victims were missing after the women falsely reported another person was unaccounted for to protect the driver.
