Pedestrian Hit Boston Massachusetts in Boston, Massachusetts: Mabinty Janneh, 32, was struck and killed on Blue Hill Avenue in Mattapan on a Saturday afternoon shortly after 2 p.m. Prosecutors say Ibraim Matos, 37, carjacked a vehicle after a prior collision near Blue Hill Avenue and Woodhaven Street, then drove the wrong way on Blue Hill Avenue toward Mattapan Square before intentionally driving onto a pedestrian-filled sidewalk, striking and dragging Janneh several hundred feet. Janneh was pronounced dead at the scene. Matos stopped only after striking an MBTA bus and was charged with murder, carjacking, and leaving the scene of two crashes.
